Segment 1: Game Plan
Cramer said that earnings seasons is still going on, so he is still waiting for it to end before he gets back into the market. He also said that the most important data released next week is the employment report from the federal government on Friday, because it will knock the market down if it is negative, no matter what corporate earnings look like. He then said he wants to pay attention to the following earning reports: cell tower companies SBA Communications (F) and American Tower (F) because the wireless companies and another tower company reported good quarters already, Proctor and Gamble (F) to see if the rotation into consumer staples will continue, Lear (LEAR), TRW (TRW), and Magna (MGA) because they should report a good quarter based on positive reports from the auto makers that buy their parts, luxury brands Coach (COH), True Religion Apparel (TRLG), and Whole Foods (WFMI), natural gas vehicle play Fuel Systems Solutions (FSYS) because the government is getting behind this trend, natural gas plays National Fuel Gas (NFG), EOG Resources (EOG), Devon Energy (DVN), and Sandridge Energy (SD), and exchanges Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and NYSE Euronext (NYSE). He recommended buying LEAR before the quarter as a speculative play, but he wants to be careful otherwise.
Cramer took phone calls on the following stocks:
Whole Foods (WFMI): Cramer is bullish on this stock because there is strong demand for healthy foods.
Fidelity Information Services (FIS): Cramer is bullish on this stock because he thinks demand for their services will pick up.
Bank of America (BAC): Cramer is bullish on this stock because he thinks they will pay a dividend again and the stock is going to $20.
Segment 2: Speculation Friday
Cramer said that a viewer email made him take a look at the death care sector, and he recommended Service Corp. (SCI) as a speculative play in the sector because their pre-paid funeral business should grow as baby boomers leave the workforce and think about the end of their lives, giving the company great earnings visibility, an improving economy will improve their balance sheet because they have to invest their pre-paid funeral funds in the market, many of their smaller competitors struggled to make it through the recession so they should be able to take market share, they have made some smart acquisitions, they reported a good quarter last week, and the stock is only up 4% this year. Cramer said that there is no reason to buy this stock right away, so don't pay up for it and make sure to do your homework. He ended by saying that he is bearish on SCI competitor Stewart Enterprises (STEI) because it is smaller and it just missed the quarter.
Cramer took phone calls on the following stocks:
Amedisys (AMED): Cramer is bearish on this stock because there is too much risk involved in the lawsuits against the company, and he doesn't trust the management.
UnitedHealth Group (UNH): Cramer said that healthcare is still hated because of Obamacare, and he would rather own Wellpoint (WLP).
CVS Caremark (CVS): Cramer said that this company and Walgreen (WAG) both reported weak quarters, so he is bearish on both of them.
Segment 3: Interview with Weyerhaeuser (WY) CEO Daniel Fulton
Cramer said that this lumber company is turning itself into a REIT, and is a play on a rebound in the housing market. They reported a positive quarter today, but management was not very positive on the conference call, so the stock took a hit, but Cramer is still bullish because it will be able to increase its dividend when it is a REIT. They talked about the process of changing to a REIT, the $26.47 dividend that the company just paid, the decision to become a REIT because of their large real estate holdings, and how the company is a play on green energy because of the potential for wind, biomass, and carbon sequestration power generation. Cramer ended by saying that he is bullish because the stock is cheap.
Segment 4: Lightning Round!
Wynn Resorts (WYNN): Cramer is bullish on this stock because he thinks it is going to $100.
Arena Pharmaceuticals (ARNA): Cramer is bullish on this stock, but said that people who have held it for a long time should take some profits.
