Today's show was a clip show because Cramer had the day off. He gave out advice on investing, but didn't mention any specific stocks. His 25 tips for today were:

1. Diversify.
2. Scale in and out of positions.
3. Take small losses before they become big ones.
4. Use dividends to limit losses.
5. Keep some cash on hand.
6. Don't buy too many volatile stocks.
7. Do your homework on the stocks you own.
8. Be careful of stocks under $5.
9. Stay away from stocks with accounting irregularities.
10. Avoid stocks that miss 2 earnings estimates in a row.
11. Sell a stock if your broker stops talking about it.
12. Go on the defensive after a long bull run.
13. Sell a stock with a dividend that is 2 times the Treasury yield.
14. Don't buy a stock with a new CEO.
15. Sell a stock once the reason for owning it is gone.
16. Don't sell calls or puts.
17. Don't use margin.
18. Don't buy a stock at its all time high.
19. Take profits to get your original investment back if possible.
20. Keep your head clear.
21. Spread out your retirement investments over the year.
22. Buy a diversified mutual fund.
23. Know when to give up on a stock.
24. Buy stocks with large buybacks.
25. Do your homework!
