This fight between the phone companies and cable is all about capital
expenditure. When you get that situation, you need to buy the
arms dealers, not the belligerents.
The arms dealer you want - the one guy you've got to have - it's Arris (ARRS)!
They are the supplier to the cable companies - they make cable modems
that are enabled for voice. And they make voice over internet
software and hardware that goes into the network to route voice packets
over broadband connections.
Here's the deal with ARRS: both Comcast and charter use their
stuff. Comcast is 35% of their sales; charter is 10%. Two
big cable companies.
ARRS' market is essentially set to double over the next three years - house of pleasure.
Right now, this stock is dirt cheap! It's trading at just 12x
estimated 2007 cash flow. Compared to its peers, that's very,
very low.
Buy, buy, buy!
Bottom line!: This is a big battleground! And I think you really want to own the war profiteer! You want ARRS!"
