MGPI
(MGP INGREDIENTS, INC. )
'Old'
"Tonight,
because ethanol's hopefully been making you a lot of moolah; because
the politician's have all started to pile on it like it's some kind of
panacea for all of our problems; I'm devoting most of tonight's show to
ethanol!
The
first ethanol stock that I want you to buy - this one is Midwest grain
- MGPI!
This
co. Has had some issues. They think they're a food
co.
That's patently false. Their food division doesn't know how
to
make money - no.
MGPI
is actually a cellulose ethanol play.
They
separate the wheat from the chaff, and then the chaff makes them money.
They
use the wheat to make the food ingredients that lose them money, but
then they turn around and process the chaff - the waste from their food
division - into ethanol!
This
is great technology - Goldman Sachs agrees with me.
If
we get some ethanol consolidation, this could be a great target, but
there are better places to speculate on a takeover.
The
bottom line! If MGPI can have this
kind of run after a bad
qtr., imagine what all the ethanol buzz could do when they report a
good one. Let's just say 'all aboard' - you ain't seen
nothing
yet."
