'Homework assignment'

Part I

FIX  (COMFORT SYS USA INC)

"When I was in college, people either did drugs or they did homework!  I don't know if things have changed.  I don't know if they've changed  since then.  But I want to make homework a little more appealing for everybody;  my kind of homework - Jim Cramer's mad money homework.

A lot of you guys don't do your work.  You just don't have any incentive whatsoever to get motivated.

You write a great essay and the best possible outcome is you get an 'a.'

Cramer's got nothing against the alphabet, but when you do my kind of homework, you don't get an 'a', you can make mad money!

But right now, you probably don't know how to do my kind of homework, unless you've read my book, Jim Cramer's Real Money: sane investing in an insane world!

I've got a stock I think you should take a look at and it's called Comfort Systems (FIX).

But if I ask anybody in this room why I like this stock right now, nobody would know.

The reasons I think FIX is right are all in head.  They're all a product of some tedious, but lucrative, homework!

Get an idea:  listen to conference calls.

In this case, I was listening in to the United Technologies (UTX) call.  UTX, which is a great co. - a big well-run conglomerate.  You just keep listening until they say something - some part of the business that they have is better than expected.  Some pricing is better than it was.  And then you've got your idea.  You extrapolate and you find others co.s that should benefit.

This is the gist of the homework.  But I have to warn you, just like real homework, the conference calls are very boring."
