'Jet Set'

GOL  (GOLLINHAS AEREAS INTELIGENTES )

What the heck happened today?  All right, I'll be very honest.  People were caught short.  The Bears were leaning the wrong way.  It's been such a great game for the Bears that you'd think that they would have given up and gone home.  They got smoked... this was a day that I think was a watershed day - a crescendo day.

Now, I stake my reputation on one principle above all others;  at no point ever should you own an airline stock.

Not only do I refuse to recommend airlines but, you know what? You could put a gun to my head, and I still wouldn't tell you to buy them.  Sell, sell, sell!

But I am committed to the idea that it is virtually impossible for any airline to succeed with oil at $71 a barrel.  The house of pain...

All airlines do is kill each other and go bankrupt all the time.  Hey, remember when Jet Blue was all the rage and everybody was coming on TV, telling you that thing was going to 50?

I think the next airline stock to plummet is AMR! the house of pain.  Sell, sell, sell, don't buy, don't buy.

Yeah, I've staked my reputation against this group, and thus far I've been right.

Over the last decade, the airlines have generated something like $30 billion in losses.  To be blunt, the airlines are pathetic companies that can't get out of their own way!

At least that's how it is in the United States...

You want to try to make money in an airline though, huh?  You really have to?  Okay.  We're going to pimp our way over to Brazil!

In Brazil, there's GOL.   It's a regional airline that runs like clockwork in a growth country.  It's been an unbelievable stock.   I mean this thing is kicking butt, and taking names!   Buy, buy, buy!
