This is a game where we find an analyst who we think is totally wrong
about a stock; an analyst who's incorrect opinion is losing you money.
Then, I use persuasive arguments to convince the analyst to change his or her minds to get the stock right.
'Pittsburgh Steal'
The stock is
WPSC (WHEELING-PITTSBURGH CORPORATION ).
May I just say that this is the worst house in a great neighborhood: Which is steel!
Steel - man, what a contingent. All the other steels are on fire!
The only one that just sits there - that seems to be just flatlining - is
WPSC!
There's only one analyst on it: she's at UBS, her name is Timna Tanners. Her opinion is that it's a sell.
Speculation on a possible acquisition of
WPSC: Barron's - who doesn't particularly like Cramer - published a piece that said it should sell somewhere in the mid 50s.
Obviously, it won't go for that much now. But, if it sells for
twice book value - not that expensive, that's what they're going for
-
WPSC, the 6th largest steel producer in America, could sell for $40! Holy cow! Doing a 'mon-back.
The bottom line!: I think steel goes higher. I think
the UBS analyst changes her mind, because she be wrong, and that
WPSC could make you some mad money!
